Technical Information
- The unit updates at 30-second intervals while moving in recovery mode. Once movement stops, it heartbeats every 10 minutes while stationary, then returns to 30-second updates as soon as it moves again.
- Battery alerts: an automatic, system-generated email is sent if the batteries are critical and need replacing.
- The tracker activates on first movement, once the magnet underneath is removed.
- Quantum3 Self-Fit is designed to be fitted by the customer but must be installed exactly as set out in the Quantum3 instruction guide to keep your Thatcham S7 approval status valid. The registration process includes a photo of the install to confirm this before activation.
